Henry Ford 1907-ben kezdte el fejleszteni az első Ford T modellt. Sorozatgyártásban, szerelősoron készítve 1908-ban gördült le először Ford gyárából, mely a kifejlesztett hatékony gyártási technológiának köszönhetően a legolcsóbb volt a piacon, de sajnos még mindig sokak számára elérhetetlen álom maradt.
